Bio

Some would say Peppa-mint is so sweet she even ends up in a loss of words, but she just melts down when she's under pressure. She'd tell you a secret for a scoop of friendship, but would you spare a dime for dark chocolate...?

Story

Pepper was born in a smaller middle-class town where Shopkins and Petkins lived peacefully alongside humans. She was given the length name of Pepper Willow Wisp after her parents discovered something apparent about her: She was somehow able to look into blue souls and read them, which caused her eyes to flare a vibrant blue.

This had caused her to be seen different by other children in the neighborhood, as they did not possess any abilities as humans. She would spend time testing her power on a blue-souled Shopkin, usually if they were in distress or sadness. Pepper would gently converse with them, claiming she felt the same way sometimes.

One of the Shopkins she encountered was a younger, hurt Sandra Scoops. She had walked into an alley alone to attempt suicide, but she had fell down a platform and had become paralyzed. Pepper had temporarily taken the Shopkin under her wing, and being around her had caused Sandra's soul to heal over a few days. Once Sandra was fully saved, she didn't want to leave Pepper's side– She had felt a strong bonding connection between the two, despite not being companions, and wanted a friend to have around. So, Pepper agreed, and let her spend time with her whenever she needed.

After starting high school, Sandra felt devastated that she wouldn't be able to see Pepper as much anymore, but she promised to Sandra that she would be back every day. Each day after school, Sandra would immediately show up to the same spot to say hi to Pepper again. At this point, she had started to feel pressure and a sense of uneasiness, but she continued to see Sandra everyday after school until she graduated.

Upon becoming a Shoppie, she had decided that Sandra could be her first companion, so they started to live together. Sandra was overjoyed over this decision, she could finally spend much more time with her best friend. Sandra had helped her with important deeds, and in exchange, Peppa-mint would train her, making her soul stronger.

Eventually, though, she decided to adopt Carla Cone as a second companion, and this had made Sandra upset. She didn't want to deal with divided time given between her and Carla, so she would do things to sabotage her from being able to spend time. Peppa-mint could barely tell that Sandra and Carla weren't getting along well, but she believed that Sandra felt suspicious of Carla because she has a yellow soul.

Peppa-mint had soon moved to Shopville to start a new business, as being a traveling seller didn't help her much with her poor social skills. She had planned and set it up with Sandra, and agreed on a "Chef Club". Without Carla being around as often, though, planning slowed, and Peppa-mint felt a bit of guilt and sadness.

She...

  • Was named after "Will o' the wisp" due to her supernatural ability.

It's believed she also acquired her perfect mint hair from possessing this power, as most Shoppies didn't own unique hair colors at birth.

  • Was seemingly less shy as a child than an adult, although she had always had communication issues.

  • As well as having an ability to read blue souls, they can also recover gradually if they are around her.

  • Had apparently felt conflicted between having Sandra or Jessicake as a close friend since they first met.

  • Had plenty of things in common with Sandra when they met, which made her easier to befriend.
