Scarletta Gateau is a female Shoppie who was known for acting in Ava Blade movies as the titular character. She had always seemed sweet from the surface, but she is simply deceptive and attention seeking.

Scarletta is such a wonderful Shoppie! She wants to do nothing more than help the poor little Shoppets. She's such a great actor, and an even greater person, nothing could go wrong with her!

Story
As a child, Odea lived a life that was in poor wealth. Her parents had passed away from a plane crash when she was 5 years old, so Odea was mostly made to fend for herself, as none of her other family members wanted to care for her. Her aunt had fully neglected her, and her uncle had never even seen her face. So, she had lived inside of her parents' car, which was abandoned and dirty since she wasn't capable of cleaning it.
She didn't have money to pay for her own food, so she would go out and hope someone was willing to feed her for just one night. Despite all of this, she still had dreams of being a famous actor, and had taught herself to improve ever so slightly when she wasn't starved or sick.
One day, she had met a kind man who was a film teacher from Alaska. He had a self-owned business, and referred to himself as Darryl. Knowing she was helpless and interested in being an actor, he let her stay in his business' premise. In a few weeks, she had recovered, and began to bond with Darryl.
Odea was 19 years old, and Darryl was 34, but they had began dating due to her naive mindset and extreme trust in Darryl. In confidence, she started to call herself Scarletta, despite not being an official Shoppie yet. Scarletta had trusted Darryl with everything, and believed he was the one to help her achieve her dreams.
When Scarletta was 22, Darryl had advised her to move to Shoppiewood with him so that her career can be kickstarted, so they left and ended up expanding his business. From here, Scarletta was a co-owner, and she had starred as Ava Blade in her first film. This had caused her to quickly gain a decently sized fanbase.
Things had changed strongly between Scarletta and Darryl after her career started. They started to argue more, and Darryl would give odd advice such as telling her to opt out of interviews and movies. He would force her to participate in sexual acts to "improve her performance", in which she would usually refuse.
Scarletta had felt distressed from these acts, so she would sit outside for a few minutes or yell about how she wanted to quit. This all continued for a few months until Darryl snapped and started to beat Scarletta, causing her to go unconscious. Instead of taking her to the hospital, he took her limp body outside and covered it in dirt and salt.
Upon her waking back up, she had an instant flashback of the events that happened up to her passing out, which made her extremely angered. She thought she could trust Darryl, only to be betrayed and left in the dirt, and she was homeless yet again, just like in the beginning...

Scarletta fortunately had enough money to have her own apartment to stay in, but she was still scarred. Even years later, she would still feel the pain from Darryl's hits, she still had scars that affected her appearance. Most importantly, she was traumatized, and couldn't stand being ignored and hurt. She had developed trust issues and didn't have much interest in befriending or dating anyone else.
Scarletta had sat outside Shoppiewood, looking for a Shoppet to have as a sidekick companion. She eventually found Rubie Blaze, who was an innocent Shoppet in a similar situation she was. She had decided that having a companion could help her gain more attention, which was a bigger focus for her at the time.
They had filmed a few movies together, as hero and sidekick, and became beloved characters. Scarletta eventually became a celebrity, living up to the rank of Gemma Stone, and she had felt so proud of herself. Rubie, however, felt pressured, and wanted to quit, but Scarletta insisted she should stay so she can be the best version of herself.
Scarletta eventually took a visit to Pawville, to film herself destroying the town in order to "save" the Shoppets and become the best Shoppie for atleast one year. In truth, she was capturing Shoppets and taking them out of Pawville, usually to abuse or butcher them and deport them far away.
She had ended up with competition, Mystabella, an up-and-coming Shoppie who was working on having a successful singing career. The competition frustrated Scarletta, as all the attention was beginning to be sent to her instead. She had further dragged out her "mission" to save the Shoppets so people would think she's more heroic and charming than Mystabella.
Over a few years, Scarletta had began to seem suspicious to bystanders, so investigators would occasionally watch over her. One Shopkin, Bianca Banana, had spent the most time figuring her out, learning about her Shoppet trafficking occupation and that she had also killed a few Shopkins, even though she was a Shoppie. Bianca started to follow her around in secret to catch her in the act.
